Description: We are looking for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse
for this position. Candidates must hold an active RN licensure.
Verification of education is required. Flu vaccination is
mandatory. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications are required. TNCC
or TNS certification is also required. This position operates on a
night shift schedule. The nurse may work in multiple emergency
department locations. Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates
with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance
with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, and
standards of care. Documents care according to established
standards. Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and
evaluation of care. Develops, initiates, and executes a patient
plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient.
Participates in department or unit performance improvement
activities. Utilizes clinical expertise to support the patient’s
longitudinal plan of care. Utilizes critical thinking regarding
patient safety and experience, escalating issues as necessary.
Participates in professional nursing activities and peer review
processes. The position urgency is considered normal. Holiday
