Must-Have: - Prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma Emergency
Department - Teaching Hospital experience preferred - Strongly
prefers CPI and TNCC certifications Description: The Registered
Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency care
in an urban setting. This position involves working a night shift
with a patient ratio of 1:4. Weekend availability is required every
other weekend. Floating to other departments may be necessary based
on staffing needs. The candidate will work with a diverse patient
population including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
The emergency room specializes in trauma and critical care
situations. Interdisciplinary support will include respiratory
services, interpretation services, pharmacy, and social services.
The role will involve various emergency procedures and
interventions, including but not limited to phlebotomy, IV
management, and triage. Strong clinical skills in trauma care and
the ability to manage critical situations effectively are essential
for this position. The successful candidate will demonstrate
excellent communication skills and teamwork in a fast-paced
environment. Commitment to patient safety and the ability to handle
emergency medical situations calmly and efficiently is crucial.
Additional skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing
