Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Chicago, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,418 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/14/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Chicago, Illinois, 60612! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active Nursing License required Certifications: BLS, NRP, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratios - Familiarity with Cerner charting system - Ability to attend high-risk deliveries - Proficient in neonate care for different gestational ages - Experienced in ventilator management and IV drip management Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The shift will be 3 nights per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role requires every other weekend availability. No block scheduling will be permitted. All staff are required to float within their scope of practice to meet facility needs. Resources may be floated outside of their primary competency as required. RTO of a maximum of 5 days is allowed, with no more than 2 consecutive days. Holiday RTO is not permitted, nor is RTO the day prior or following a holiday. All clinicians must provide two professional references from recent employers. The ability to manage complex neonatal cases is essential. Candidates must comply with all pre-start documentation and lab requirements.
