How you’ll make an impact in this role Diagnostic Imaging & Procedure Support: Assist in complex procedures and provide diagnostic aid by expertly conducting organ or body scans on patients. Patient & Technical Setup: Accurately prepare and position patients for imaging, and select the correct anatomical and technical parameters for the procedure. Procedure Monitoring & Safety: Closely observe patients during procedures, immediately reporting any abnormal activity, and strictly adhere to all radiation safety protocols and guidelines. Advanced & Interventional Imaging: Competently perform all specialized imaging procedures (e.g., angio, complex vascular) and interventional/therapeutic procedures, providing support to the Radiologist or Physician Assistant (PA). Quality & Regulatory Compliance: Monitor imaging protocols, recommending updates as warranted, and ensure all activities fully comply with institutional and regulatory agency standards. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. What additional preferences we're seeking Cath lab experience.
