Performing diagnostic tests and evaluations to assess lung capacities and determine impairments. Developing and implementing effective, personalized respiratory care plans for patients. Operating and managing ventilators and other respiratory support systems for patients who require artificial respiration. Educating patients and their families on lung health, including smoking cessation, disease management, and breathing exercises. Collaborating with healthcare teams to tailor interventions to patient needs, ensuring continuity of care. Monitoring patient progress and adjusting therapeutic approaches based on response. Maintaining patient records with accuracy, documenting all treatments, medicines, and procedures. Proficient in using various respiratory care devices and equipment. Strong analytical skills to assess patient conditions and implement appropriate treatments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams. Capability to handle stressful situations and make informed decisions under pressure. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Active state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
