Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Electrophysiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 4x10hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 13, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 3 years of experience and a strong EP background, including pacemaker and ICD experience, for a cardiac cath lab setting in the Central Chicagoland area. Details - Works in a cardiac cath lab with 4 procedure rooms and 15 prep/recovery bays - 1:1 patient ratio - Procedures include structural heart, complex coronary, peripheral, and EP cases, as well as pacemaker and ICD implants - 10-hour day shifts with a start time of 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM - Call required: 1 weekday per week after 5:30 PM, and every 5th weekend (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM) with 24/7 availability on weekends and holidays - 30-minute call-back response time required - Holiday coverage follows the on-call rotation schedule - No floating required - EMR: Epic (preferred, not required) Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience, with most recent experience within the last year - Strong EP background required, including experience with pacemakers and ICD devices - Previous travel experience required - Active IL state license (IEMA) required — license required if applicable - Current BLS and ARRT certification required - ACLS highly preferred - Epic EMR experience highly preferred - Ability to scrub and assist physicians with structural heart, complex coronary, peripheral, and EP procedures - Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration - Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN Additional Information - Scrubs provided on-site - Candidates will scrub and assist physicians across a range of complex cardiac and EP procedures American Traveler Job ID P-685152.
