Job Description:
We are seeking Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Nurse
Practitioners or Physician Assistants for
F ull-Time Employed positions to
join our group, Illinois Emergency Medicine Specialists (IEMS).
Work schedule includes at least 130 hours of coverage per
month and will be cross credentialed at our UChicago
Medicine AdventHealth sites. Must have at least 6 months of
recent Emergency Medicine experience. EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT: IEMS is a LOCAL physician group dedicated to the success of each
emergency department they serve. IEMS regional and national
resources support their ability to continue to provide customized
value-added services to the hospitals and communities they
serve. Bolingbrook Medical Center Approximately 38,500 visits annually 19 emergency room beds Glen Oaks Medical Center Approximately 23,000 visits annually 19 emergency room beds 21,000 square foot Emergency Department Hinsdale Medical Center Approximately 27,000 visits annually 26 emergency room beds Family Medicine residency program onsite La Grange Medical Center Approximately 32,000 visits annually 24 emergency room beds Family Medicine residency program onsite OUR PARTNERSHIP AND FACILITIES: UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is the largest health system in
Illinois that has been serving Chicago's northwest, west and
southwestern suburbs for more than 100 years. Illinois Emergency
Medicine Specialists (IEMS) is in partnership with UChicago
Medicine AdventHealth in covering emergency departments at multiple
facilities all within an hour from downtown Chicago: Bolingbrook Medical Center is a 138-bed hospital that
has been serving the community since 2008 and is less than 40
minutes from downtown Chicago. In addition to a full spectrum of
modern-day health care, Bolingbrook Medical Center also provides
services within a pain management center and Hepatitis C
clinic. Hinsdale Medical Center is a 261-bed hospital that has
been serving the community for over 100 years and is less than 30
minutes from downtown Chicago. Full spectrum of modern-day health
care including state-of-the-art cancer center, Level III Perinatal
services with neonatal intensive care unit and surgical
capabilities that include da Vinci and MAKO robotic assisted
surgery. Glen Oaks Medical Center is a 143-bed hospital that has
been serving the community for over 40 years and is less than an
hour from downtown Chicago. In addition to a full spectrum of
modern-day health care, Glen Oaks Medical Center also provides
services within a therapeutic day school and Hepatitis C
clinic. La Grange Medical Center is a 186-bed hospital that has
been serving the community since 1955 and is less than 30 minutes
from downtown Chicago. University-Level care at a suburban scale.
Full spectrum of modern-day health care including robotic assisted
surgeries, orthopedic care, and heart & vascular care.
For more than 30 years, IEMS has provided quality-driven and
compassionate emergency medicine services to the UChicago Medicine
AdventHealth. IEMS presently supports the emergency departments at
Bolingbrook, Glen Oaks, Hinsdale, and La Grange, representing
nearly 120,000 annual patient visits.
