KC Brands (KC) is a brand incubator for CPG brands in the health & wellness space. KC was born from a consumer trial platform that tested over 350 health & wellness food and beverage brands with consumers across many different demographics representative of the US market. KC relies on data gathered on CPG's along the spectrum of sophistication from the smallest of startups to the largest of manufacturers (e.g., Kraft, General Mills, Nestle, Mars) to pick the next successful brands in the space.We are looking for an exceptional sales consultant to join our team and help build out the small account inside sales program for one of our new products, launching August 2016. Note: This is a contract position paid on performance, with the opportunity to convert to a full-time role.Role and Responsibilities: Inside Sales Program DevelopmentCreate the infrastructure to support our inside sales program, including: Sales trackers and benchmarks; Sales materials and processes; Order and fulfillment proceduresSmall Account Development and SegmentationIdentify and pursue potential up-and-down-the-street sales opportunities with a test-and-learn approachLeverage sales beta test experience to develop customer segmentation, identifying highest potential types of customersConduct geographic analysis to map richest territories for inside sales prospects; codify process so it can be applied to other geographiesCreate tool to qualify prospective customers; beta test tool with prospective customersOpen new accounts, build relationships, and manage existing accountsTrack all conversations and performance metrics with prospective and current accountsBrand Support:Lead in-store product demos to support sales in owned accountsMerchandise in-store product displays; work with store managers to developopportunities to promote our brands in storeCollect and synthesize customer feedback on our productsDevelop creative product activation and promotion programs that maximize brand awareness and product trial while minimizing costWhat we're looking for: You should be a hard-working, hungry self-starter. You think creatively, and can both develop and implement big, out-of-the-box ideas. You are also detail oriented and can manage several projects at once, meeting deadlines and communicating well with your team and manager.
