District or Multi-Site Manager - Contract Food Service

Job Description:

An award-winning, privately-held contract foodservice company is seeking an experienced District Manager to drive growth and lead their organization to the next level. Clients include hospitals, upscale senior living communities, and corporate dining facilities. This District Manager position provides challenges and opportunities for growth. Responsible for growth, overall operations, and profitability for your region.

District Manager Responsibilities

  • Develops strategic plans and directs operations in the assigned region to support KPI and profitable growth in the region
  • Expands business within the region - Acquire profitable new business
  • Participate in the sales process. Develops proposals and presentations for potential clients. Writes contracts.
  • Develop and maintain an annual budget to meet regional and corporate goals. Monitor and maintain adherence.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly reporting compliance
  • Regular site visitation to inspect and ensure compliance.
  • Client interaction and engagement.
  • Account development and retention.
  • Conflict resolution. Client, customer, resident, or associate complaints.
  • Liaison to corporate legal and HR team for customer or employee cases
  • Annual Performance Evaluations
    District Manager Qualifications
    • Experience managing Six (6) or more directors
    • Experience managing Three (3) or more accounts for a minimum Two (2) years
    • Minimum managed volume $10M
    • Bachelor' s Degree in Business or Hospitality or equivalent experience/degree
    • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred
    • Servsafe certification preferred
    • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) required
    • Extensive travel required
    • State and federal background and drug screen
    • Proven ability to perform in an unstructured, financials-driven environment
    • Ability to work independently and as a team member with a diverse group of individuals
    • Ability to manage workflow, complete special projects, meet deadlines
    • Record of customer satisfaction and commitment to excellence
    • Proven ability to mentor, coach and develop
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Exercise good judgment, make sound decisions.
    • Analytical skills and problem-solving.
    • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment with positivity and flexibility.
      District Manager Compensation
      • Compensation package commensurate with experience
