Job Description
The Store Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the $2M
retail revenue stream for D+A including, but not limited to
marketing strategy, staffing, ordering and inventory management.
Open & Closing Procedures
- Open/Close Cash Drawer
- Set intentions for current day through staff huddles
- Check, triage and respond to voicemail
- Unlock/Lock cabinet doors and drawers
- Settle & Batch
- Set intentions for following day Maintenance & Cleaning
- Clean, organize and stock store
- Dust shelves and products
- Clean and replace testers
- Maintain clean, organized, and stocked work environment
- Clean up after self and others Vendor Relations
- Communicate with vendors
- Negotiate purchase pricing, promotions, and discounts
- Collect new product information, evaluate and present to
managers and owners
- Coordinate vendor events and promotions Training
- Provide staff education and training on how to discuss products
with patients
- Evaluate staff performance needs and appropriately intervene
when greater training is necessary for optimal results
- Coordinate ongoing vendor trainings for staff
- Coordinate, participate and assist in organizing new product
trainings Sales Representative
- Manage POS operations daily ensuring accuracy and precision,
which includes opening and closing daily batches, in addition to
balancing throughout the day.
- Service patients / customers who come into store
- Greet and direct patients & guests in a timely and professional
manner, always with a smile
- Present product regimens and recommendations
- Consult and develop skincare regimens
- Makeup consulting – color matching and makeup lessons
- Sell Gift Cards
- Process sales transactions
- Update & enter Patient Demographics (referral source)
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Enroll patients in Rodan & Fields
- Weekly follow-up calls to patients to evaluate satisfaction
with regimens
- Extend invitations to workshops and events
- Patient replenishment and reactivation outreach for new/updated
regimens based on expected product usage
- Patient promotion outreach, contact appropriate patients to
inform of specials and events
- Manage patient product side effects and complications with
clinical staff and providers
- Manage phone orders and webs sales and ship products
- Manage product returns
- Manage out-of-stock/waitlist for products
- Manage to-dos and patient inquiries, phone calls and emails
with the goal of offering solutions
- Tally how many people enter store daily
- Organize & display merchandise
- Receive & triage packages/shipments Store Management
- Communicate with providers and leadership
- Organize and update product binders
- Manage POS system (sales, merchant processing, gift cards)
- Interview staff
- Train staff
- Coach store team to perform in a professional engaging manner
and lead by example
- Product evaluation & research (old and new)
- Benchmarking and communicating product performance and stock
movement
- Setting and meeting team sales objectives
- Track and analyze sales volume and revenue
- Retention analysis
- Development and management of loyalty programs
- Track, analyze and develop marketing plans
- Track referral sources
- Monitor, analyze and communicate staff/provider sales
performance
- Attend business development seminars
- Communicate patient care with Practice Administrator daily.
Inventory Management
- Monthly physical inventory counts and daily stock checks
- Manage stock levels including back stock
- Purchase orders
- Receive stock – physical count, Receiving Orders & SKU
labeling
- Stock product
- Manage packaging materials for store
- Perform special product orders for patients
- Manage Returns-to-Vendors (RTVs)Event Planning
- Manage stock levels including back stock
- Plan events from initiation to execution in concert with
Practice Administrator
- Coordinate vendor support and participation
- Prepare space for events
- Event photos (take and upload)
- Manage event RSVP list, Confirmations & Follow-Ups Website and
Social Media Management
- Manage updates to website for products, images, content, and
price changes
- Social Media content development and updates Admin
- Assist with administrative duties as requested by Patient
Service Manager and Practice Administrator
- Update patient form templates Minimum QualificationsPOSITION
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree
- 3-5 years' experience in the field of cosmetic retail
knowledge
- Detailed knowledge of skincare products, skin anatomy, and
industry trends.
- Physician product line knowledge
- Inventory management, human resource management, marketing /
product promotions Preferred Qualifications
- Prior dermatology and aesthetic experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with
patients, support staff, providers and managers
- Strong writing and oral communication skills
- Management skills with direct and indirect staff members
- Strong customer / patient service approach and attitude
- Detail oriented with focus on building patient relationships
and retention, generating new business and completing projects as
assigned by Practice Administrator
- Shows initiative ability to problem solve

- Ability to work within a team approach
- Ability to work with minimal supervision

- Excellent etiquette in person or phone
