and volume growth.Job DetailsThe Regional Retail Operations Manager
leads, coaches, mentors, and facilitates a team of Area Managers in
multiple locations who are responsible for executing organizational
objectives and initiatives. He/she is the driving force to
achieving all budgeted sales and financial goals. Adjusts retail
sales goals and procedures for each district based on goals set for
the whole region. Designs and recommends regional sales and
marketing promotions and sets short- and long-term retail sales
strategies for the zone. Creates functional strategies and specific
objectives for the sub-function and develops
budgets/policies/procedures to support the regional
infrastructure.C. RESPONSIBILITIES1. Responsible for the
implementation of all company policies and procedures at site
level.2. Responsible for the profitability of each site and the
organization.3. Responsible for the development and implementation
of Car Wash Strategy/Pricing.4. Responsible for price integrity at
site level.5. Ensure that all regulations (such as tobacco and
alcohol policies) are followed.6. The General Manager's primary job
function is to be fully accountable for the success of an assigned
group of regions and driving sales by directing all operational
aspects of district and store operations7. The General Manager is
responsible for ensuring that Area Leaders make certain that their
store staffs maintain clean, well-organized, and properly
merchandised stores at all times and that all policies, procedures,
and controls are followed8. Responsible for overseeing all aspects
of inventory control to ensure store shrink is within company
guidelines by protecting company property and assets9. The General
Manager serves as the key strategic partner, and maintains a
constant awareness of our competition within an assigned region10.
Sets an example to peer group and reporting team in ethical
decision making11. Manage and direct a geographic region 12.
Responsible for scouting and developing in depth knowledge of
assigned market13. Responsible for suggesting sales plans based on
historical data in market14. Responsible for scheduling any
necessary work needed to locations while partnering with Facilities
Manager and contractors15. Responsible for scheduling all initial
fixture and merchandise deliveries within region16. Responsible for
setting sales and operational goals and expectations, and ensuring
that those goals and expectations are achieved17. Responsible for
overseeing the performance management of the Area Manager teams to
meet all expectations18. Schedule regular visits in all stores with
Area & Store Managers to ensure compliance in all areas of customer
service, store operations, and loss prevention.19. Train,
challenge, motivate, encourage, and provide constructive guidance
to Area & Store Managers related to all areas of effective
operations20. Oversee Area & Store Manager implementation
strategies to meet all store performance goals21. Responsible for
establishing sales and operational plans with Area & Store Managers
to ensure that all tasks are managed and executed efficiently22.
Responsible for ensuring that Area & Store Managers hire qualified
candidates and ensure that all associates are properly trained23.
Ensure that Area Managers effectively supervise Store Managers by
planning, organizing and delegating tasks to meet store goals and
expectations24. Responsible for recruiting, hiring and training
Area Managers in all aspects of their jobs, and providing
appropriate constructive feedback regarding performance and/or
conduct25. Ensure that Area Managers maintain proper staffing
levels to meet store needs and that associates properly record
hours worked26. Ensure that Area Managers and Store Managers are
kept current on all policies, procedures, programs and guidelines,
and that all stores maintain a work environment free from
discrimination and harassment27. Ensure that all associates treat
one another and our customers with courtesy and respectD.
QUALIFICATIONS1. Bachelor degree from an U.S. accredited
College/University is required.2. 5-10 years of retail management
experience at the regional level.3. Exceptional problem solving and
conflict management skills 4. Strong selling and negotiation
skills5. Strong written and verbal communication skills6.
Self-motivated and effective team member7. Experience with
technology and ability to learn iPad business applications8.
Working knowledge of MS Office to include PowerPoint, Excel and
Outlook9. Working knowledge of independent contractor relationship
nuances10. Must be able to relocate as required11. Must be able to
multi-task in fast-paced environment and heavy transaction
volume.12. Standing for long periods of time and the ability to
work in environments with varying temperatures13. Ability to lift a
minimum of 40 lbs., perform essential job functions such as
standing, bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, and walking long
distances14. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills,
