WHO YOU ARE

You are passionate and enthusiastic about food, coffee, espresso, wine, spirits, beer. That passion shows through when you discuss our menu. Multi-tasking is something that comes naturally to you, as does working under pressure. While you're great in an environment chatting one-on-one with a customer, you thrive just as well with a packed restaurant and bar. Sophisticated and approachable, you take pride in a well-groomed appearance, and a work environment that allows for that. You have one to two years serving, and/or bartending experience in a luxury environment.

WHAT YOU DO

You welcome every guest with a smile, and as an ambassador for the hotel, make sure they are taken care of from the minute they sit down to their last bite of dessert. You are knowledgeable of the food and drink menus and wine list so you may consult with guests on the menu offerings and upsell them to increase your average check and income. You deliver memorable experiences that bring customers back again and again. Taking orders, serving food, preparing for dinner business, and holding conversation are all part of the day to day.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

--- Previous Food and beverage experience is required.
--- Requires understanding in service principles, beer, wine, liquor, coffee.
--- Open availability mornings and evenings including weekends and holidays is required.
--- Valid Basset and Food Handler Certification Required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

--- Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
--- Able to bend, twist, squat, reach and walk with ease.
--- Stand constantly.
