the Aspire team! The Director, Compensation, Benefits & HR
Compliance is responsible for leading Aspire's Compensation,
Benefits, and HR Compliance functions. This includes developing
compensation and benefit strategies, structures, administration,
policies and practices which deliver results. Oversees partnerships
with benefit providers to ensure a competitive benefit package
along with compliance of annual reporting, audits and employee
notifications. In addition, this position oversees performance
management to include the annual review process, employee
relations, development and maintenance of policies/procedures and
regulatory requirements.Compensation:1. Administer the compensation
program to include developing and regularly reviewing salary ranges
to ensure market competitiveness.2. Responsible for maintaining and
developing new job descriptions and conducting market evaluations
to include FLSA determination and grade assignment.3. Participate
in salary surveys and apply survey results for pay rate and salary
grade assignments.4. Partner with Talent Acquisition team to ensure
competitive employment offers and equity reviews.5. Research and
administer new or changing compensation policies/practices to
comply with all federal/state/local regulations.6. Identify and
deliver creative programs to foster recognition.Benefits:1. Manage
administration of the group insurance plans.2. Manage open
enrollment and ensure that all employee health and welfare
enrollment elections are processed accurately.3. Ensure benefit
brochures are available for recruitment and assist in responding to
employee inquiries.4. Ensure compliance with ERISA and other legal
requirements including annual updates and communications of plan
documents and summary plan descriptions.5. Manage required
reporting and compliance related to employee notifications and
submissions of the 403b audit and Form 5500.6. Manage workers
compensation claims and reporting.7. Respond to Unemployment
Compensation inquiries through third party vendor.8. Ensure benefit
invoices are accurate.9. Co-lead the wellbeing committee.HR
Compliance:1. Oversee performance management policies/procedures to
ensure fair and consistent treatment and mitigate organizational
risk pertaining to employee relations2. Revise and maintain the
Employee Handbook to ensure accurate information3. Oversee the
performance management process to include progressive discipline,
responding to charges/lawsuits and coaching leaders on process
elements.4. Oversee the leave of absence/FMLA process and ensure
appropriate tracking, reporting and compensation application.5.
Participate as a member of the Safety Committee.* Bachelor's degree
preferred with 7 years Human Resources experience, including at
least 2 years in compensation and benefits administration* PHR,
SPHR, CEBS and/or CCP certification a plus* Prior supervisory
experience preferred* Compensation experience required, including
experience with market-pricing, building and administering base
pay/salary grade structures* Understanding compliance components of
managing benefit programs* Employee relations experience and
knowledge of labor laws* Previous experience in developing/updating
HR policies and Employee Handbook* Excellent communication skills
with the ability to interact with all employee levels* Strong
analytical and critical thinking skills are essential*
Knowledgeable of legislation impacting compensation and benefits
