POSITION SUMMARY

The Recruiter is responsible for filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. Heavily responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process. This entails sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negations, all while ensuring candidates have an excellent experience. The successful candidate will build relationships and work closely with hiring managers to help determine sourcing strategy, obtain position requirements and compensation as well as ensuring that job descriptions are updated and discuss job behavioral profile. In addition, the recruiter manages the talent acquisition process and ensures compliance with government regulations regarding employment

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Support the Recruiting Manager in the implementation of recruitment objectives, policies, and procedures
Assist and coordinate in preparation of Talent Management Plan based on the available role, industry standards and needs of the organization.
Receive and review all the job applications for assigned vacancies within the designated region.
Specific recruitment processing tasks include: shortlisting candidate resumes against job descriptions, updating vacancy and applicant status within the recruitment procedure, organizing interviews and liaising with applicants to provide updates on their progress etc.
Proactively plan and manage recruitment for all positions within the relevant departments; including managing attraction campaigns and candidate sourcing, short listing candidates, technical assessment testing (if applicable), and behavioral interview assessment with line manager and offer negotiation.
Conduct initial phone screenings and arrange interview appointments for hiring managers with candidates
Promote best recruitment practice, share ideas and information to ensure consistency through value added services.
Manage vacancy and candidate records on software and, ensuring that all data and information is accurate and up to date.
Utilize online recruitment services to attract and source applicants.
Post job openings to both internal and external job search websites
Process background/MVR check and review completed reports
Retrieve results for drug, physical and lift test( if applicable)
Assists Recruiting Manager in maintaining applicant tracking system, and offering up ideas for improvement of system
Responsible for overall candidate management
Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs as they relate to recruitment
Attends local job fairs and related recruiting events
Run open requisition report as needed
Assists with annual reporting for Affirmative Action Plan and ongoing compliance
Assists Recruiting Manager and HR Business Partners as needed.
Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: The ideal candidate has a degree in Human Resource Management or in a relevant related domain; a business degree, e.g. BA, or strong industry experience would be a strong asset.
Experience: A proven track record (minimum of 2-3 years' experience) in a fast paced, high-volume on-line and on-site based regionalized talent acquisition environment within a global organization. Extensive interviewing and sourcing experience is a key requirement.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, and some human resource/applicant tracking systems
Other Requirements: Consultative selling and relationship management skills, demonstrates resourcefulness, insightful judgment and good analytical skills, as well as exceptional organizational skills at managing large/variable work loads
