AKIRA is looking for a highly motivated and organized self-starter to join our Human Resources team! As HR Administrator, you will support day-to-day HR tasks such as onboarding and offboarding, maintaining employee records, and benefits administration at an exponentially growing retail company.
Essential Functions:

  • Ensure onboarding and offboarding documentation is submitted and accurate, following up for all missing information in a timely manner
  • Performs internal customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested
  • Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions
  • Maintain and update personnel files for employees in a confidential manner
  • Explain and provide information on employee benefits
  • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Maintain and generate specific HR daily, weekly, and monthly reports

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 2-3 years of related experience in Human Resources
    • 2-3 years experience using ADP highly preferred

      • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast - paced, dynamic environment
