Job DescriptionAs a staffing and recruitment specialist for DCC Propane, you would actively recruit and screen qualified individuals for open positions, formulate and implement targeted recruiting plans, schedule and oversee candidate interviews and screening, and collaborate with HR personnel to formulate effective staffing strategies in order to achieve job req fulfillment. The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for maintaining job postings and assisting with the facilitation of the hiring process. Our ideal candidate has both considerable experience and success as a corporate recruiter, in addition to strong communication and organizational skills.Recruiter Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruit qualified individuals to fill vacant positions in our corporate offices as well as at our retail Propane locations. Positions, include Accounting & Finance, IT, and Operations positions such as, District Managers, Services Techs and Delivery Drivers.
  • Establish, develop and maintain friendly relations with organizations and training centers from which applicants may be recruited.
  • Collaborate with HR personnel and executive stakeholders to determine an ideal hiring and staffing strategy.
  • Push postings out to social media and other sites.
  • Review resumes, screen candidates and facilitate interviews with the local hiring managers.
  • Follow up with hiring managers to ensure we are tracking and progressing candidates as appropriate.Contract Recruiter Requirements and Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Min of 5 years recruiting experience
    • CIR and AIRS certifications (preferred)
    • Strong computer proficiency
    • Existing relationships with professional organizations and recruiting sources
