Job Description:

Hendrickson is searching for a Sr. Payroll Specialist to join their team in Woodridge, IL.This individual will work with the Payroll Supervisor to process payroll for multiple divisions and locations including hourly, salary and executive payrolls.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Entering, transmitting, and reporting salary payroll to ADP.* Provide leadership by resolving inquiries from employees arising from interpretations of payroll regulations.* Oversee and manage a full process semi-monthly payroll for multiple business units.* Enforce established payroll related policies, procedures, and regulations for the division.* Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, rationalize work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality seamless customer service.* Balance payroll accounts by auditing information, identifying and resolving discrepancies and completing payroll journal entries.* Participate in Internal and External audits with regards to payroll related requests.* Process weekly hourly payroll for multiple locations / multiple states.* Comply with corporate Oracle and ADP systems with authorized pay rates, from personnel change notices (PCN's), for both hourly and salary personnel.* Complete all hourly/ salary payroll reporting requirements as needed.* Additional miscellaneous accounting duties such as journal entries, AR/AP, etc as needed by the department.* Other duties as assigned.Interested? The successful candidate will possess:* Associate's degree required.o Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred.* Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience.* Skilled at using database, spreadsheet, and word processing software applications.* Flexibility to cross train in other accounting functions.* Significant payroll processing experience required; ADP experience preferred.* Knowledge of payroll earnings and regulatory deduction requirements.Candidates:* Must demonstrate ability to* prioritize in a fast-paced multi-task environment.* understand, interpret and comply with all company policies and procedures.* excel with data entry, phone, and organizational skills.* display strong customer service orientation with strong collaboration skills.* Must be of highest integrity as will be working with confidential material.* Must have proven ability to pay close attention to details and accuracy of work.Hendrickson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
