Job Description Job Description SUMMARY We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Test Operator to join our test setup team. This technical, hands-on role involves operating cranes, positioning large pumps and equipment, assisting with test configurations, and monitoring and documenting test results. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical aptitude, such as millwrights or similar skilled trades, and a strong commitment to safety in challenging environments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operate cranes and lifting equipment to move pumps and test components. Transport, position, and align equipment for various test configurations. Support setup and teardown of test environments. Monitor tests and accurately record performance data and results. Assist troubleshooting efforts related to equipment, wiring, and test setups. Follow all safety procedures, especially when working around water and heavy equipment. QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in a technical, hands-on role (millwright, mechanical, electrical, or industrial background preferred). Experience with electrical systems and/or wiring. Comfortable working in confined spaces. Strong basic computer skills for data entry and documentation. Ability to safely operate cranes or willingness to be trained. Must be comfortable working over and around water in a wet pit environment. PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS Ability to work in close proximity to water (not in the water). Comfortable working at heights and over open areas. Ability to move and position heavy equipment with proper tools and lifting devices. Must follow all PPE and safety guidelines.
