Job Description Job Description Job Title: HR Generalist Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Pay Range: $65,000 – $70,000 (based on experience & qualifications) Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) Role Overview: Brilliant Financial Staffing has partnered with a growing and well-established organization in the agricultural and animal nutrition industry to identify an HR Generalist for their corporate team in downtown Chicago. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative HR function and report directly to the VP of Human Resources, gaining exposure to executive leadership while supporting a multi-site organization. Key Responsibilities: - Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination (approximately 75% of the role) - Manage onboarding processes, including HRIS entry and new hire integration - Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and retention strategies - Track and report HR metrics, including headcount, turnover, time-to-fill, and absenteeism - Assist with employee relations by addressing concerns and supporting conflict resolution - Serve as backup support for payroll and benefits administration (Paylocity) - Assist with policy development and ensure compliance with labor laws - Coordinate employee training and development programs - Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to support HR initiatives Qualifications: - 2 years of experience in HR (HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, HR Generalist) or relevant internship experience - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (required) - Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle confidential information with discretion - Proactive, “go-getter” mentality with a willingness to learn and grow If you or someone in your network is interested and qualified, please apply today.
