Come be a part of our mission!The Payload and Ground Systems Division seeks talented Embedded Software Engineers with experience in Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS) to join our growing team in Rolling Meadows, IL. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will join our diverse team and be responsible for software research, architecture, design, implementation, and integration on our systems. You will be working on mission critical software to meet the needs of our customers. Your expertise in embedded mission critical software is desired for this position.Additional $10k sign-on bonus for selected candidates who possess an ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance, and an additional $5k sign-on bonuses to selected candidates who possess an active Polygraph.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline with 2+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 0+ years of experienceExperience with C/C++ or similar language using object oriented developmentFamiliarity with Software Development Lifecycle (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, etc)Familiarity with Automated Testing and Continuous Integration FrameworksFamiliarity with PythonFamiliarity with various version control systems (Github, Bitbucket, ClearCase) and Agile software planning tools (Rally, Jira, etc)US Citizen and ability to obtain government security clearancePreferred Qualifications:Software Architecture skills (Design Patterns, Objected Oriented Design)Real-time/multi-threaded embedded application Programming ExperienceSoftware Defined Radio Architecture ExperienceStrong Discrete Signal Processing BackgroundRTOS Experience (VxWorks, Linux)Proven communication and team leadership skillsActive TS/SCI clearanceSalary Range: 77900 - 116900Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
