    We are looking for you to join our team as a Systems Administrator/Principal Systems Administrator based out of Rolling Meadows, IL. As a Systems Administrator/Principal Systems Administrator at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation.What You'll get to Do:Specific Responsibilities Include:
    • Set up user accounts and workstations.
    • Provide software maintenance and install software upgrades and patches.
    • Create backup or recover files of systems.
    • Perform and log systems and software scans using utilities such as Fortify and Nessus tools.
    • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
    • Troubleshoot issues and outages.
    • Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
    • Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
    • Update Lab Operations Policy and Procedures including Information Systems Security Plans (ISSP) and Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&M) and ensure they are being followed.
    • Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts.
    • Communicate effectively with network, software, system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and IT personnel.
    • Running shell scripts and/or Bash Scripts.This position may be filled as a Systems Administrator or Principal Systems AdministratorBasic Qualifications:
      • Systems Administrator - Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field with 3+ years of relevant experience: or Master of Science degree in a STEM field with 1+ years of relevant experience.
      • Principal Systems Administrator - Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field with 6+ years of relevant experience; or Master of Science degree in a STEM field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
      • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software in a networked environment.
      • Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
      • Ability to articulate and implement NIST 800-171 cybersecurity requirements.
      • Capacity to work with minimal direction and independently determine and develop solutions to issues as they arise.
      • US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain interim DoD Secret Security Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:
        • Bachelor or master's degree in information security, Cyber Security, or Computer Science.
        • Familiarity with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and/or DFARS Clause 252.204-7012.
        • Experience with Linux Operating Systems.
        • Experience with PowerShell, JavaScript, Python, etc.
        • Experience with Github, Clearcase or other management tools.
        • VMWare experience with current version.
        • Active secret clearance. Salary Range: $71,500 USD - $107,300 USD Salary Range 2: $88,000 USD - $132,000 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
