Position This position may be located in Urbandale, IA, Moline, IL,
Cary, NC or Fargo, ND per the hiring manager's discretion. This may
be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience,
and proficiency. Your Responsibilities As a Senior Embedded
Software Systems Engineer within ISG Tech Stack, Embedded
Infrastructure located in one of the following locations including
Urbandale IA, Moline IL, Cary NC, Fargo ND you will---Design and
Implement core infrastructure components and solutions to support
product line automation and autonomy projects.Assist in integration
and software development activities around infrastructure systems
(embedded operating systems, reprogramming, networks, and
diagnostics) into John Deere products.Provide technical leadership,
lead proof of concepts/technology development and support first
adopters on application of new core technologies.Participate in, or
lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst
available technologies.Triage product or system issues and
debug/track/resolve by analyzing the source of issues and the
impact on hardware and software. VISA Sponsorship is available for
this position. What Skills You Need 5+ years of experience with
software development in one or more programming languages, and some
of that experience with embedded systems.3 years of experience with
embedded communication protocols on hardware topologies such as
CAN, ethernet, LIN, etc.3 years of experience working with embedded
operating systems.Strong communication and collaboration
skillsAbility and willingness to work in a diverse team
environment, helping others on the team succeed What Makes You
