Job Description:

Position Responsibilities This is a hands-on position in our Middle / Back Office Technology Team focused on our key third party vendor systems across several Trading and Operations functions. The role includes functional design, system configuration, quality assurance, application support, vendor management and any other duties related to the development and usage of these applications. The ideal candidate has demonstrated recent experience in a similar role interacting heavily with users and 3rd party application vendors to deliver high quality functionality to the business. The candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, an inquisitive nature, a passion for excellent service, the ability to self-start and be resourceful and a very strong understanding of technology. Since this is a client-facing role, which requires communication with users at all levels, exceptional verbal and written communication skills are paramount. Responsibilities include: Become a subject matter expert in core line-of-business software platforms servicing middle and back-office functions. Set up and configure systems in a distributed environment. Create custom reports to meet the needs of business partners. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans Provide support for applications by triaging support issues, identifying root cause and managing issue resolution across business users, developers and third-party vendors Work closely with development teams and vendors to clarify requirements and ensure application delivery meets all desired business specifications. Actively manage third-party vendors for application development, delivery and support Ensure that all delivered solutions meet the highest quality standards and satisfy all specified business requirements, meet technical standards and adhere to robust data security requirements through rigorous validation and testing Analyze and understand complex business processes and present them in an understandable and logical format. Identify pain points and opportunities to further leverage technology to increase productivity, improve quality and reduce risk. Understand the relationships, dependencies, and impact of related business functions to your area of responsibility. Understand data organization and relationships and independently perform hands on data analysis using SQL, Excel and other data extraction, analysis, and reporting methods Build strong and productive relationships with key business stakeholders, sponsors and technology colleagues Demonstrate a sense of ownership for the deliverables and gain an understanding of the technology solution and business process changes associated with the project Exhibit resourcefulness in proactively identifying and engaging available resources and subject matter experts in related areas to achieve your goals Confidently facilitate meetings with all levels of the organization including senior business stakeholders and senior management Demonstrate an ability to multitask and manage time and priorities under pressure and to meet deadlines Candidate Requirements Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field is required with 3 to 5 years of related technical experience preferably in Financial Services Prior working knowledge of Azure DevOps or other similar work item management to manage and prioritize backlog items is a plus Experience writing logical functions or modules using high level languages like VBA, .Net, java or scripting languages Experience writing optimized Stored Procedures and SQL Functions Ability to analyze SQL code performance and identify enhancement opportunities Strong analytical skills to digest, document and translate business requirements for in-house development or customizing / configuring third-party software products Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues, dissect calculations and articulate solutions Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills Must have working knowledge and prior experience with all phases of the SDLC in a team-oriented, structured yet agile, model COVID vaccinations required, subject to applicable local, state and federal law #LI-JH1 PDN-9937578f-bc9d-438e-9886-3464c6784760
