Participates in firmwide projects as well as departmental projects. Provides direct support to the business and IT team members for systems related issues. Receives escalated support requests from Level 1 Help Desk team and prioritizes support requests to ensure full customer satisfaction. Stays in frequent communication with other team member about ticket status and works collaboratively to develop solutions. Escalates to the IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager as needed for advanced support.Major Responsibilities* Provide superior quality and service. Respond promptly and courteously. Prioritize requests according to criticality. Identify timely and accurate solutions to technical issues.* Provide administration, support, and maintenance for IT hardware and software systems across all locations and the data center.* Maintain Microsoft Active Directory Group Policies, DNS, DHCP services, account and AD security management* Provide technical IT expertise and assist in the selection of new hardware and software platforms which follow the enterprise architecture principles, policies and standards.* Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot systems and related hardware and software in order to deliver required service levels.* Administer application specific support processes coordinating with the business and/or other IT support professionals in issue and problem resolution.* Work with managed services partners and service providers to ensure appropriate prioritization for scheduled maintenance and upgrades.* Identify policy deviations, recommend corrections, and report results to management.* Responsible for systems operations lifecycle management including design, build, deployment, and support.* Responsible for disaster recovery planning and testing of enterprise systems* Responsible for maintaining security solutions on enterprise systems* Monitor, manage, and maintain system performance of all infrastructure components.* Document all standards, policies, and procedures.* Document all support activities in ticket tracking database* Provide backup and second tier coverage for tier 1 support team (Help Desk).* All other duties as assigned.Required Practical Experience / Background / Skills* Strong customer service skills including verbal and written communications.* Superior time management skills including sense of urgency and proactive approach.* Strict adherence to professional ethics.* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.* Ability to work on and successfully complete multiple projects at the same time.* At least three years of relevant technology experience in related technical environment preferred.* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.Required Professional Background / Skills* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred, Associates degree with strong practical experience may be acceptable or MCSA certification.* Excellent experience in:* Microsoft Active Directory services and security including group policy, security hardening, and remediation activities;* Windows Server operating system;* Microsoft Active Directory Services;* VMware virtualization products such as VMWare or Microsoft Hyper-V.* Strong knowledge of Office 365 enterprise systems, services, and security.* Strong knowledge and experience in storage area networks including administration, change management, and troubleshooting* Additional skill preference:* Knowledge of shell scripting (PowerShell) and HTML* Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM and SCOM* Knowledge of SOC 2 complianceWorking Conditions* Typical office hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm however, must have ability to work extra hours, different hours, or staggered hours as determined by the workload and expectations.* Generally on-call during evenings, weekends, and holidays unless prior arrangements are made.* Minimal travel.* Ability to sit for long periods of time.* Ability to move throughout office.* Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.* Ability to speak English to communicate with clients, team members, etc.One FirmTo foster a highly respected, inclusive culture that helps foster and promote an environment that is diverse and equitable for all team members and the firm to achieve growth and deepened expertise.
