Job Description:

A company is looking for a Sr. Database Administrator (SQL).

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server instances
Optimize database performance, backup and recovery strategies, and high availability solutions
Administer database security, monitor and alert database health, and troubleshoot database-related issues

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5-7 years of database administration experience, with at least 3 years in Microsoft SQL Server
Preferred certifications in Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or Database Administrator
Proficiency in SQL Server tasks, scripting, high availability solutions, and monitoring tools
Experience with database migrations, cloud-based SQL Server deployments, and collaboration in team environments
