are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our
Maintenance Software Product team. This role is deeply embedded in
the product development lifecycle and contributes across discovery,
definition, delivery, and validation of new and existing
functionality. Senior Business Analyst works closely with internal
and external stakeholders to understand business needs, translate
them into clear product and technical requirements, and support
successful implementation. This includes activities such as
stakeholder discovery sessions, requirements definition, wireframes
and mockups, system support, user acceptance testing, and release
coordination. The ideal candidate is naturally analytical and
curious, comfortable working with complex systems, and able to
clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and
non-technical audiences. This role requires someone who can quickly
build domain knowledge, adapt to evolving customer needs, and
contribute meaningfully to products in the business aviation
industry. This position reports to the Director of Product and
collaborates closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA,
Operations, and external stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities:
Support and advance the product vision by researching, ideating,
sketching, and validating high-quality user experiences for our
business aviation software products. Partner closely with
stakeholders to understand and define project goals, requirements,
and success metrics, while considering technical feasibility and
design implications. Develop a deep understanding of existing
product functionality, business logic, and customer workflows to
support ongoing enhancements and growth initiatives. Translate
concepts and requirements into clear deliverables, including
wireframes, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and
supporting documentation. Collaborate with the Engineering team to
explore technical implementation options and identify realistic,
creative solutions to constraints or challenges. Work closely with
the QA team by defining acceptance criteria, supporting test
planning, reviewing results, and guiding overall testing
approaches. Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing,
including test execution, issue validation, approvals, and release
readiness activities. Make informed design and user-experience
decisions related to new, core, and future features, balancing
usability, consistency, and technical constraints. Contribute to
and help improve existing product and delivery processes; assist in
defining new processes where gaps exist. Collaborate effectively
with cross-functional team members, including other analysts,
developers, project managers, QA, and others. Assist in creating
supporting documentation such as release notes, user guides, and
other supporting content. Desired Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in
a relevant field such as Business Administration, Information
Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. 5
year experience in a related field such as business analysis,
project management, or a related role within a software or
technology-driven environment. Experience working in regulated,
complex, or data-rich domains (e.g., aviation, maintenance
tracking, inventory management, financial services, insurance) is a
strong plus. Demonstrated experience eliciting requirements,
writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and supporting
Agile/Scrum development teams. Strong ability to communicate
complex concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in
writing, with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Hands-on
experience creating wireframes, mockups, or process flows to
support product definition and design discussions. Comfort working
with complex data models, business rules, and system integrations;
ability to reason through data dependencies and edge cases.
Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and working closely with
Engineering and QA throughout the development lifecycle. Experience
with business aviation software (maintenance tracking, component
inventory, MRO systems) is a plus but not required. Good knowledge
of Microsoft office tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, O365).
Demonstrated ability to communicate concisely and effectively
(written and verbal) within high-level technical context, to own
and produce documents presented to stakeholders. Business analysis
or Agile certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Scrum-related
certifications) are a plus but not required. At JSSI, we are
committed to rewarding our team members with competitive and
comprehensive compensation packages that reflect their
contributions and talent. For this role, the annual base pay
generally ranges from $95,000 to $105,000, with the final offer
