People in the Corporate Function contribute to the running of
Accenture as a high- performance business through specialization
within a specific functional area, and grow into internally focused

Legal and Commercial Services professionals deliver and coordinate
legal, contract and commercial advice and counsel in support of
Accenture's or our clients' business, working to manage and
mitigate risk and ensure ethical behavior and compliance with laws
and company policies.

The Global Services Legal team is a strategic partner and a product
counsel towards the five Services, i.e. Interactive, Industry X,
Strategy & Consulting, Technology and Operations. We are a diverse
team and our team's mission is to help our business to grow in a
responsible, inclusive, and sustainable way, by providing
early-stage legal advice and support in relation to the key
business strategies and priorities.
The GSL Team is now looking for a senior-level attorney to serve as
Senior Counsel supporting the Technology & Innovation business.
- Working with the Technology business to evaluate service and
product offerings to prepare those offerings for market,
considering potential legal and other risks.
- Support the Global Innovation Network teams to efficiently
identify and support first impression innovation legal
- Support Accenture's Ventures & Open Innovation team to review
prospective investment target technology and to implement
post-investment relationship strategies.
- Identify legal and regulatory risks and develop mitigation and
self-regulating governance strategies, in collaboration with
colleagues across the business, GSL and the wider Accenture Legal
- Enable other Legal teams across Accenture - developing
contracting guidance, providing SME support to deal teams and
designing compliance frameworks.
- Education: JD or equivalent degree or legal qualification and
admitted to the bar (or local equivalents) in good standing or
otherwise authorized to practice law
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in a corporate or law
- Experience analyzing complex facts and situations to provide
risk analysis and mitigation strategies
- Understanding or willingness to learn applicable regulatory
landscapes as required for the offerings, including with respect to
data protection and privacy
- Track record of developing trusted relationships with senior
- Experience shaping deals and evaluating innovative commercial
models for new product and service offerings
- Strong interest in learning about emerging
- Commitment to a creative, inclusive, and diverse
- Ability to build a sense of belonging in a team and establish a
sense of common purpose inside the larger Accenture Legal
- Focus on analysis of the business, guidance to the right
business and legal teams, industrialization of more mature
processes, and active enablement of our off-shore legal teams to
handle mature work
- Open to learning, working with and understanding cross-cultures
and locations throughout the Accenture global organization
- Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either
military or civilian
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional
setting; either military or civilian
As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act,
Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles
that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by
a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set,
level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of
Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $159,516
- $288,500 and information on benefits offered is here.
