We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced trust & estates paralegal to join our Estate Planning Practice GroupWhy join us?We are a family friendly firm, staff and attorneys genuinely like coming to work!Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:Compiling, organizing and indexing documentary evidenceFiling documents with state and federal courts in paper or electronic formatBasic drafting and preparation of legal documents including wills, contracts, real estate closing statements, subpoenas, and other legal documentsCoordinate and manage client matters and projectsProofread all documents and check for appropriate formatting, spelling and grammatical errorsResearch facts, laws, and public records as directedData and file management, calendar management supportTransaction and tax supportPerform other duties and special projects as requested; may involve handling confidential and sensitive material for celebrity, professional athlete and ultra-high net worth clientsRequirementsBachelor's degreeParalegal certificate or equivalent experienceMust have minimum 2 years of experience in either a law firm or legal departmentExcellent interpersonal, organizational, research, written and oral communication skillsSelf-starter, detail-oriented, with ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in MS Office Suite applications and time entry software (Perfect Law experience a plus)Interested in hearing more?
