NOW HIRING A St. Louis law firm is seeking three Attorneys. We practice in the fields of complex civil litigation defense, construction law, personal injury defense, and bad-faith insurance defense matters. toxic tort, insurance def, asbestos litigation, equipment failure and other toxic areas like Benzine and Diathodal. Insurance coverage work is a plus, but not required.Located downtown and we work in most of the courts throughout IL with a heavy representation down in Madison County.Partnership track is available for the right candidate.If you have an Indiana License as well, with experience in Asbestos, we have a large case that needs your help now!Candidates should be energetic, outgoing, and willing to learn. If you are a motivated self-starter and team player, we want you.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Case evaluation, issue recognition, case handling recommendations, and support.
• Communicate with client and counsel.
• Propound and respond to discovery.
• Perform legal research and draft memoranda.
• Draft complaints, motions, and other pleadings and documents.
• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions.
• Prepare for and argue motions at court hearings.
• Prepare for and attend mediation.
• Interest in going to trial and arbitration.
• Provide excellent service to all clients.
  • Must be willing to travel on occasion as needed.QUALIFICATIONS:
    • In good standing with the MO Bar.
    • Strong research and writing skills.
    • Ability to work independently and to multitask while demonstrating strong attention to detail.
