Cloud Migration Specialist
Genesys seeks sales-focused Technical Innovation lead for the NA
region, including the US and Canada. The position can be remote,
and the successful candidate should reside within the NA
Genesys is looking for a passionate cloud migration specialist to
work with our customers to assist in the migration from their
existing premise-based solution or hosted solution to our
state-of-the-art Cloud Platform. This individual should have a
strong consultative background as well as a strong technical
background. The successful candidate should have the ability to
assess what the customer is using today, the customers' business
requirements and can demo the new platform with the business
requirements in mind.
The successful candidate should be able to work with customers to
determine their future end state, discuss technology architectures,
share and collaborate with white board sessions, evaluate and or
create Visio or lucid chart diagrams to assist with the migration
discussions. The successful candidate will work with account teams,
product management teams, and professional services teams.
We are looking for candidates who have a passion for cloud with
knowledge of different cloud architecture environments, integration
options and ability to work seamlessly with other customer systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and
strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and, as a direct or virtual team
member to successfully achieve sales objectives.
- Demonstrated technical and competitive knowledge, and
consultative skills specific to Genesys PureConnect, Genesys
PureEngage and Genesys Cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills ability to assess a problem and
determine an effective course of action.
- Demonstrated ability to use collaboration tools (Conference
calls, Video calls, Collaborative whiteboard solutions), in a sales
- Ability to understand different system architectures and
provide recommendations on how to leverage a Cloud solution to
achieve similar results
- Ability to demo cloud solutions for the customer and support
local account teams.
- Successful completion of 4-year degree
- Master's Degree desirable
- Recommended 7+ years-related experience in the Contact Center
space. Genesys PureConnect and Genesys Cloud experience
- Pre-Sales experience required
