Job Description:
The assistant is expected: (1) to aid in maintaining a clean and
beautiful classroom environment (2) to assist in monitoring the
students while the teacher gives lessons (3) to help the students
in the bathroom (4) to prepare the classroom for lunch (5) to
conduct after school activities such as music, art, cooking, etc.
The ideal candidate for this position: - must understand, or is
willing to learn and support, the Montessori philosophy - must
possess patience and a natural love for interacting with young
children - is willing and able to work on the floor or to sit on a
low stool while working with students - is flexible and accepting
of various tasks contingent on what is required at the moment - is
open to constructive criticism and instructions Shift available:
11:00 am - 6:00 pm
