Detail orientated and with a blend of design and hands-on implementation experience, this person will work within the CCA-Design department supporting the company's operating apartment communities with landscape design services. Projects will range in size from small to medium sized renovations and seasonal/annual maintenance programs reinforcing and maintaining the CCA brand standards across all our communities.Work will include design, development of plans and specs, management of landscape brand standards, management of consultants and contractors, estimating and budgeting, management and coordination of site work as well as management of service contracts for annual and seasonal programs.Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, three to five years of relevant experience and a professional landscape architect license is preferred. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Field experience is required. Typical responsibilities include:* Manage and deliver landscape design services for all operating CCA communities* Small & Medium sized renovation projects, design through to implementation* Develop and manage CCA landscape design standards* Develop and manage seasonal/annual maintenance programs that maintain CCA brand standards.* Design, specification and procurement of site furnishings and FFE* Prepare drawings, renderings and specification packages* Manage preferred vendor and contractor lists and relationships* Perform annual site analysis* Research and complete permits as necessary* Observe work in progress on-site as needed* Prepare design cost estimates* Prepare project status reports* Prepare monthly work letters* Experience with MS Office, Abobe suite, AutoCAD, Revit and Sketchup preferred
