The SVP, Patient Operations will lead Revenue Cycle operations for large care organizations, partnering with the Solutions and Patient Executive team to deliver superior results. In this role, you will also contribute to our growing organization as a thought leader helping to improve the R1 solution and inform our strategy. The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Patient Operations is also responsible for building and maintaining a high performing team while developing the next set of leaders. You will develop new skills to grow your leadership abilities and career while delivering exemplary business results. Responsibilities:
    • Lead the patient operations, customer care & medical financial solutions, and scheduling/intake organizations, while owning and delivering on P&L expectations
    • Participate in R1 strategy development as a thought leader and content expert sharing best practices, optimizing performance, and leading the transformation
    • Execute and improve R1's operating model
    • Act as a change agent to help establish common goals--and create alliances across hospital organization to optimize success
    • Partner with Customer Executive team to align operational objectives
    • Serve as a thought leader for the Solutions and Patient Ops and Executive team
    • Own all management decisions regarding daily operations within assigned teams
    • Focus on development, performance and growth of your team-- Required Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree is required
      • At least 12 years of Operational experience with at least 5 years in Revenue Cycle Leadership
      • At least 5 years of steadily advancing leadership roles and a proven track record of success
      • Demonstrated experience in the design, strategy and leading of a major technical transformation enterprise wide is required
      • Strategic vision across operational excellence in end to end solutions
      • Strong and broad understanding of Revenue Cycle Operations within a hospital setting
      • Tenacity/Grit--- This role will require getting deep into details and personally driving results in complex and challenging environments. While this work can be tedious, it is foundational to success
      • Analytical Skills ---Understanding of complex Excel and Access and/or simple SQL are a plus. More important is mathematical/analytical aptitude, ability to translate operational concepts into measurable--results, and vice versa
      • Leadership Skills ---Strong communication and leadership skills, while acting as a role model and coaching team members in R1's core values
      • Change Management--- The ability to help counterparts through difficult transitions to a new process, workflow, or situation
      • Interpersonal Skills ---The ability to establish oneself as a peer and trusted partner for our client counterparts
      • Motivation / Drive--- Successful candidates will be the quintessential self-starter and have a desire for continuous learning. Going beyond what is asked to take on new challenges and create innovative solutions is critical to success Desired Qualifications:
        • Strong Call center experience
        • Experience transforming a call center with technology to become more efficient
        • Use of consumer behavior analytics to determine approaches to drive ROI
        • Strong leader who can lead a transformation and also lead a team to buy into the vision
        • Strong Customer Service experience
