Who You Are

A Mortgage Loan Processor processes residential mortgage loans, achieves production and quality metrics, and works as a liaison between the loan officer, borrower, underwriter, and funding. You'll prepare and review loan files to ensure completeness of submission and supporting documents, as well as compliance with underwriting and investor guidelines. You'll also monitor overall loan processing cycle time to ensure the loan closes on time. Communication and resolution of issues that delay loan closing timeline is critical.

This position requires excellent customer service and financial skills. Mortgage Loan Processors are well-versed in the loan origination process and have excellent research skills. In addition, interpersonal and financial skills are critical.

In this role, you will...

* Receive customer applications, quote the rate, and complete follow-up activities.
* Continuously pursue our training offerings to increase knowledge of company products, policies and procedures, and underwriting requirements.
* Demonstrate basic knowledge of local, state and national financial laws and regulations.
* Show excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Maintain an ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
* Have intermediate math skills.
