Job Description: The CIS associate will drive the planning and execution of testing strategies over the AMRS F&O and OTC Clearing technology architecture, focusing on AMRS Exchange / CCP / vendor software upgrades and implementations, new product offering and internal system releases ensuring quality controlled implementations. The CIS associate recommends and executes release sequence and load balance planning solutions to senior management to ensure seamless impact to the Clearing, Reconciliation, Deliveries, Cleared OTC Middle Office and Control daily operating model. The CIS associate partners with F&O and OTC Clearing functional managers globally on system and procedural process re-engineering implementation with high internal and external visibility in consultation with our Exchange/CCP Relationship Managers, internal support partners (GMOT, CACG, Transaction Reporting, NFRR, Legal, Compliance) and Business partners. The CIS associate will be responsible for the scheduling, testing and seamless deployment of system releases while assessing / illustrating impact on regulatory change and enterprise improvement initiatives (such as OCC Renaissance, Operational Excellence, Organizational Health, QA and Resource Capacity Planning). Key Responsibilities:-Maintain active dialogue with AMRS Exchange / CCP / Vendor RM's to forecast, sequence, schedule and load balance upgrades throughout the year-Maintain active dialogue with Business Solutions and Internal support partners (GMOT, CACG, and Transaction Reporting, NFRR etc.) to implement changes within the post execution clearing architecture-Develop test strategies, plan and schedules over all upcoming system releases to ensure quality controlled implementations-Design, build and execute customized UAT scripts and actively partner with GMOT to enhance regression testing-Ensure all testing standards are met, generating clear audit trails that evidence completeness and/or defect remediation-Coordination with F&O and OTC functional Associates impacted by system releases ensuring control standards are met on procedural / task tracker / risk assessment updates-Navigate and influence functional managers, control partners and task owners to implement system releases-Complete root cause analysis, remediation of failed UAT while maintaining thorough implementation audit trail-Interface with internal stakeholders supporting client needs and liaise with technology to resolve infrastructure related issues-Provide operational support on training of complex functional / product implementations-Active participation in Future Industry Association clearing committee dialogue pertaining to industry change and influence of load balancing Role Qualification / Competencies:-Demonstrate deep exchange traded derivative (ETD) product and process knowledge-Demonstrate sound knowledge and awareness with regard to regulatory reform-Working knowledge of GMI, Clear Vision, AMRS Exchange User Interfaces-Excellent communicator / able to digest and clearly articulate complex process / product change / implementation issues-Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously-Strong process design/process release and change management experience-Experience with interacting on technical change with external Exchange relationship managers and associated technology teams-Serve as central point / catalyst for change and sustainable quality-Experience in technical process re-engineering and improvement-Knowledge of Client Asset rules and an appreciation of current regulatory change agenda-Strong analytical skills via Microsoft applications (.ppt .doc .xls) Other Qualifications:--- Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions.--- Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward.--- Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs - is a continuous learner.--- Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change.--- Participate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client base.--- Believes in value of diversity so we can reflect, connect and meet the diverse needs of our clients and employees around the world.
