The Underwriting family makes business decisions for a line of
insurance or defined marketplace which appropriately considers
product, pricing and risk management levers. They assess and
determine appropriate risk selection based on both countrywide and
regional direction. They work with FPMOs, Home Office State and
Line Management teams to execute appropriate strategies/process to
achieve growth and profitability objectives.
Evaluates, makes Individual Risk Management decisions across
multiple lines of insurance. Answers inquiries on the status of
policy, risk eligibility and underwriting policies and procedures.
Reviews underwriting decisions and suggests process improvements.
May provide training to others.
Shift: 11:45AM - 8:15PM ET, Monday - Friday
Pay: Compensation for this position will be $16.00 per
PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR CALIFORNIA,

Evaluates, makes decisions and processes policies based on
Individual Risk Management Policy within the established production
Answers inquiries on Individual Risk Management providing customer
service and accurate risk decision making.
Works with leadership in providing training based on the needs of

Identification of process improvement opportunities.
Assists in designing and executing solutions that lead to

Timely responses when following up on complex questions.
Knowledge of Individual Risk Management policy for multiple lines,
products and regions.
Operates core process with minimal supervision.
Broad knowledge the fundamental principles of insurance and risk
Knowledge of the centers risk management operating systems and
tools used to evaluate and process policies.
Intermediate level written and oral communication skills. Able to
express that in communication to agents and other internal
Able to transfer process and risk management knowledge to

Basic knowledge of regional rating plans.
