We are seeking a senior business leader to serve as our
Infrastructure Sector Leader for environmental services (ES) in the
Eastern United States. Our ideal candidate will have pre-existing
client relationships and a proven track record of winning work
within community development or transportation market spaces. The
successful candidate will embody Stantec's philosophy that "we are
better together" and will demonstrate a keen ability to organize
information, communicate clearly, manage expectations, and provide
a framework for driving revenue growth. This individual will
establish the strategic direction for Stantec's ES Infrastructure
Sector program in collaboration with our Community Development and
Transportation planning, engineering and design teams, as well as
other members within the ES business line.
Your Key Responsibilities
Grow Infrastructure Sector business in the United States, with a
focus on environmental services.
Identify and win large contracts, projects, programs and
opportunities while leveraging global Stantec relationships for ES
with existing clients.
Drive revenue growth opportunities for the entire range of
Stantec services and champion an integrated services approach.
Partner with appropriate Sector Leaders and Regional Business
Leaders (RBLs); assist RBLs in the Budget, Annual Review, and Bonus
Build, grow, and develop a team of high performers based in each
relevant target geography for the Sector; recruit & retain
specialist staff, project managers and account managers within the

& development initiatives.
- Be responsible for annual preparation of the Infrastructure
Sector Plan, with inputs from other members of the ES, Community
Development and Transportation business line teams.
Identify trends and develop a long-term view of the industry,
market, and client base. Work to position the company in key
portions of the Community Development and Transportation markets to
provide for sustainable growth.
Identify new service areas and work collaboratively with others
in the company to leverage opportunities for Stantec's entire range
Anticipate medium- and long-term client needs and industry
- Innovate and enhance our capabilities, geographic footprint,
and integrated approach.
Direct marketing and business development activities involving
environmental services within the US East Infrastructure
Work closely with client account managers, RBLs, and technical
service leadership to deliver safe, profitable, and sustainable
projects and services for our clients.
Develop a team of high performers through coaching and mentoring
of business center staff and account managers in growing business
with federal, state, county, and local clients, airports and port
facilities, and private sector clients (e.g., economic development
commissions, developers, Class 1 and short rail companies, and

Education and Experience
The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a
key contributor to a leadership team, including the following
An undergraduate degree in environmental science or engineering
is required. We prefer that candidates also have a graduate degree
in a technical, business, or marketing field, but a graduate degree
is not required.
Minimum of 15 years of experience, which must include relevant
consulting experience in the US East Infrastructure.
- Environmental regulatory or remediation experience for
community development or transportation clients is preferred.
