Position Summary

As the Manager, Digital Transformation Martech Strategy at Constellation Brands, Inc. reporting into the Director, Digital Transformation, you will champion and evangelize our advertising technology partner ecosystem, spearhead several marketing technology workstreams, and scale our technology operations and standardization efforts while leading a dynamic, high-performing team to drive elevated digital and media performance across our portfolio of wine, spirits, and beer products.

Responsibilities

Manage cross-functional projects across key CBI stakeholders

  • Technology Roadmap & Innovation Pipeline
  • Cultivate, develop, and deliver strong technology roadmaps and innovation pipelines alongside our advertising technology partners who support our programmatic, tag management, data management, data governance, CRM, ad server, search, SSPs/inventory partners, and identity management executions

  • Lead and deploy new several ad tech technologies in partnership with IT-Marketing and MarTech leadership

  • Support the integration of key advertising technology and develop new, unique opportunities to grow of our first-data collection to enhance our CBI marketing technology stack alongside Director, Digital Transformation and Director, IT-Marketing

  • Evangelize tech partner relationships - challenge the norm, bringing new ideas to drive product roadmap, enhancements, and wish-lists on behalf of CBI's core business objectives across our programmatic, data management, data governance, CRM, ad server, tag management, and identity management partners

  • Advertising Technology Partnerships
  • Lead our programmatic, data management, ad server, tag management, search, and identity management partner relationships

  • Consult on operational best-practices, providing guidance and support to TBA Digital marketing, Media, and eCommerce teams on best practices to deploy when executing marketing across channels from audience strategy, channel strategy, etc.

  • Facilitate QBRs, monthly updates, and develop a training and development roadmap alongside partners to ensure TBA Digital, Media, eCommerce, and MarTech teams are up-to-date on the latest details, features, and capabilities of our technology stack partners

  • Foster new partnerships with technology vendors, bring their offering to the broader Digital, Media, eCommerce, and MarTech teams for further education and discussion

  • Website Development
  • Oversee all website technology decisions in-partnership with IT-Marketing in-support of work across DTC, eCommerce (TBA), Brand, and Digital Marketing (TBA), ensure consistent technology structure across all CBI owned properties

  • Manage all tag and analytics deployment processes across Brand.com sites and the implementation of website compliance privacy/regulatory data collection policies alongside DTC, Procurement, Legal, and IT

  • Work to build a CRM strategy across web properties in partnership with DTC, eCommerce, MarTech, and Digital Marketing, and brand leadership teams to continue to support the evangelization and collection of our CBI first-party data

  • Lead the production of a MarTech Services Website Playbook - work with key stakeholders each quarter to update playbook based on latest learnings, roadshow and educate key teams across CBI on the latest requirements, needs, and updates for website development

  • Governance and Compliance
  • Develop and implement a holistic marketing data governance strategy, process, protocols and distribution plan that can be effectively leveraged across internal systems to drive real-time optimizations and automated decision-making in partnership with Legal, Information Security, and IT

  • Keep up to-date on the evolving state and federal regulatory policies, ensure all parts of our data collection process via Websites, events, sweepstakes, etc. are compliant and up-to-code - forging a deep alliance with Information Security Privacy Program leads to maintain regular cadence of marketing and consumer data compliance needs

  • Promote and participate in an open dialogue on compliance topics and reinforce importance of adhering to compliance policies and guidance

  • People Management
  • Provide people management and guidance to team-members inclusive of work executed alongside our Digital Asset Management Specialist and DAM technology

  • Ensure team members meet business objectives and maintain alignment and coordination with all stakeholders through 1:1 coaching support, consistent feedback, and team meetings. Responsible for performance management and the development of the team.

Desired Skills

  • Experience at a consumer brand /digital/ agency leading creative operations team and/or similar function

  • Has multi-channel digital marketing experience, including but not limited to: paid search engine advertising, paid social advertising, display advertising, retargeting, and native advertising.

  • Operations experience with ad networks/DSPs/SSPs/DMPs management

  • Ability to execute technology business case evaluations (analysis, financial modeling, storytelling) to ascertain business investment and resourcing

  • Ability to lead cross-functionally across CBI stakeholders and manage by influence across all levels of the organization

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and can-do approach - ability to adapt quickly to changing business priorities and challenges

  • Strong communication skills and capable of building technology partnerships, managing stakeholders, and working collaboratively with cross-functional partners to drive projects to completion and meet shared objectives

  • Conduct and execute technology business case evaluations in support of furthering marketing business objectives

  • Manager experience of at least 2 direct reports

Education

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience implementing digital technology solutions.

  • Has led and mentored direct reports for a minimum of 3 years

  • 4+ years establishing digital strategies and implementing technology solutions

  • 4+ years of Adtech analytics experience

Physical Requirements/Other

  • Work in a normal office environment. Must be able to sit at a workstation for up to 2-hour intervals. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Must be flexible in work style and schedule: travel up to 10%, the wine and beer industries are hospitality-oriented, so availability to work weekends and evenings on occasion as required.

  • Must have a valid U.S. Passport.
