Role Purpose

The Head of Consulting, Corporate Solutions is accountable for providing the best advice to C-Suite executives including the CEO, CHRO, CFO, CIO and Corporate Real Estate Executives regarding the products, services and platforms to achieve their vision and strategy. They will lead world-class practices in the areas of Work strategy, Workforce and talent, Workplace Experience, Portfolio Transformation and Sustainability along with an axis around the overall Real Estate agenda. S/he works collaboratively with diverse clients and real estate experts to solve for the strategy, design, selection, and implementation of the necessary solutions to deliver meaningful financial and operational objectives. Leading and growing a team of 200+ consultants globally who ensure that our recommendations are tangible and constructed in such a way as to support the success of the overall client enterprise and their business transformation objectives. Dual reporting to the Chief Client and Growth Officer and CEO of Corporate Solutions Americas, this role will be accountable for growing the business to a market leadership position in the target segments globally.

Location: Open to candidates located across the US or in the UK

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the organization and team to provide premier consulting services and uncover the client's business challenges to discover how JLL's products and service solutions can help address them effectively
  • Deliver effective and inspirational leadership to a globally led and locally delivered high performing consulting organization
  • Demonstrate successful track record and exceptional effectiveness with C-Suite & CRE executives across the globe to help define their strategic needs and shape their strategy while positioning JLL as the partner of choice across the portfolio
  • Sustain JLL as a thought leader across industries and organizations, introducing the capability and breadth of our solution portfolios which then lead to further opportunities across the organization
  • Build an aligned, world class real estate Consulting business with premier practices in the areas of Work strategy, Workforce and talent, Workplace Experience, Portfolio Transformation and Sustainability that is able to deliver insights and solutions for JLL's clients at both a global, regional and local level by leveraging the scale and depth of JLL's businesses and talent
  • Develop and manage multiple client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to growth within the Corporate Solutions business
  • Create an aligned, connected Consulting organization that effectively partners with Sales, Accounts, Products, Research, Marketing, JLLT and Markets to identify opportunities to bring on new clients and develop best in class products and solutions
  • Partner closely with the Sales leaders and teams to unlock net new opportunities for business growth. Develop world-class ability to seed opportunities for expanded and long term client relationships and agreements
  • Critically assess and evaluate multiple options to identify innovative solutions including the selection of the right software systems and platforms to solve the client's needs
  • Accountability for effective and timely implementations of agreed solutions
  • Serve as thought leader and trusted advisor to our clients in defining and executing the overarching workforce, workplace, sustainability and real estate strategy. Develop and deliver thought leadership program which can resonate with depth and be scaled across markets, client segments and geographies
  • Manage, coach and guide diverse project teams to get the most out of our people and deliver the best results for our clients
  • Define the overall consulting offerings working with Go to Market on the value proposition
  • Maintain abreast of technology, products and related CRE solutions within and outside the Real Estate industry to remain contemporary and credible
  • Leverage knowledge and experience to influence the Product Management team's decisions to build, buy or partner
  • Work to identify other areas of opportunities for JLL products and services

  • 15+ years of experience in consulting
  • Global experience required
  • Superior analytical skills: able to analyze financial statements, perform company valuations, scenario analysis, and develop creative and value-enhancing deal structures with a broad range of complexity
  • Experience with real estate, professional services, and/or business services
  • Proven track record of managing Consulting operations profitably by managing investments, utilization, various consulting commercial models and arrangements
  • Ability to leverage relationships and attract talent globally
  • Experience in optimizing cost through right shoring of capabilities and talent.
  • Experience in strategic consultancy, banking and/or within a corporate strategy or related function
  • Strong executive presence with a history of presenting to senior leadership and boards of directors
  • Must possess exceptional creativity and problem-solving skills
