We are hiring a Behavioral Health Technicia
at Hinsdale Hospital. This is a registry position with
in 1904, AMITA Adventist Hinsdale is DuPage County's only teaching
hospital. We provide expert, compassionate, faith-based care in the
respective Catholic and Adventist traditions for patients at all
stages of their lives from one conveniently located facility at the
heart of the Western suburbs.
Adventist Hinsdale has earned a number of nationally recognized
awards and safety grades, particularly for its state-of-the art
cancer center, Level III Perinatal services with neonatal intensive
care unit (NICU) and surgical capabilities that include da
MAKO Robotic Assisted Surgery. The hospital has also received a
five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
What You Will Do:
Provide direct behavioral health patient
What You Will Need:
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily
- Provide or assist with providing direct patient care,
diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
- Observe and record patient behavior and activities.
- Report any changes in condition and suggests modifications to
the treatment plan.
- Establish a therapeutic relationship with assigned
Licensure / Certification /
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association
(AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job
transfer date required.
- Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention credentialed
from the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) preferred.
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Illinois Department of Public
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or
Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
