Saint Joseph Hospital Chicago in the Lakeview neighborhood is an
academic hospital that's home to experienced doctors with a passion
for providing exceptional patient care. The hospital also hosts
several centers of nationally recognized care, including the
Chicago Institute of Advanced Bariatrics, the Mark M. Connolly
Center for Cancer and Specialty Care and the Diamond Headache
Days a Week 7:00PM - 7:30AM with rotating weekends and holidays
What You Will Do:
Conduct interviews and behavioral health
assessments for potential admissions.
What You Will Need:
- Provide admissions and intake services to patients and
- Respond to telephone inquiries from persons seeking mental
health care or information about mental health-related
- Admit patients to the hospital and register outpatients with
appropriate physician orders or transfers to another
- Document calls and related admission information.
- Review all paperwork accompanying patients to ensure adherence
with hospital and regulatory policies.
- May staff a crisis hotline.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or
Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Crisis Intervention and Assessment &
Referral experince a plus.
Bachelors degree or higher in Psyschology,
Behavioral Health, Social Work preferred.
