Bring your strong selling skills and we will provide ongoing training anddevelopment in a supportive environment.Position Summary:The Business Development Specialist (BDS) is responsible for the business development and leadgeneration of PatientPoint products within new and existing customers.This Business Development position will help establish and maintain mid to high level relationships withkey decision makers within independent health practices, health systems / hospitals thru cold calls,mailings, emails, outreach to sister sites/ hospitals, and working with current clients. The BDS falls underthe Provider Solutions Inside Sales Organization and the position will support the Sales team in closingsales.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Work with and coordinate activities with the Sales team on a daily basis
  • Make 50+ calls and 2+ hours talk time per day with prospective and existing customers
  • Utilize internet, LinkedIn and Definitive databases to identify key decision makers
  • Represent PatientPoint in a positive and professional manner
  • Demonstrate knowledge of PatientPoint products
  • Prospect, qualify and develop sales opportunities through outbound calling
  • Record sales activity, complete and maintain an accurate sales pipeline using
  • Conduct ongoing customer needs analysis and research of customer requirements through first
  • party resources
  • Participate in management meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and
  • other assigned action itemsQualifications/ Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional healthcare sales experience--- Minimum 2+ years of business-to-business sales experience
    • Ability to complete high quality/ high volume outbound calls on a daily basis
    • Ability to make effective 'cold' calls and adapt approach to overcome typical challenges (gaining
    • decision maker, handling objections or indecisive clients)
    • Welcomes feedback/coaching and makes the necessary changes to be more successful
    • Eager to learn and can adapt/ be creative in approach to meet different client needs and assist
    • the Sales team with closing sales
    • Demonstrate confidence, drive, and has professional demeanor
    • Comfortable working in an upbeat team environment
    • Track record of success and quota achievement
    • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
    • Ability and desire to work in a new role that is evolvingAdditional Skills and Specifications:
      • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrating 100% grammatically correct and professional business communication
