What You'll Do:Our customers are everything to us. As a New Business Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing relationships with customers. You will work as a Key member of the CarrierDirect Sales Team.
Responsibilities

  • Research new prospects, contacts and map/segment to national market
    • Convert prospects into CD clients, owning the full sales cycle and negotiation through to the transition of new clients to the project delivery/ account management team
    • Continually build relationships at the C-Level to uncover prospects' mission critical priorities and present CD solutions to deliver against sales metrics and KPIs
      • Administration and project management of the end to end sales process;Serve as bridge between business development and delivery teams - ownership of contracts, SOWS, proposals, pricing, structuring content to win the deal
        • Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
          • Define new and refine - current CarrierDirect offerings, customer profiles and market segments
            • Work with marketing to develop and execute targeting campaigns and lead subsequent follow up activities
              • Identify and develop new channel partnerships, work with existing channel partners to develop new business and drive leads
                • Advise on sales strategy, message positioning, meeting insights, proposals and closing efforts
                  • Generation of weekly networking and prospecting activities to drive new client acquisition and brand awareness (meetings, phone calls, emails, follow-ups)
                    • Develop sales plans to achieve individual and company goals
                      • Responsible for submission and maintenance of CRM (Hubspot) data- making sure that all information is accurate, up to date, and complete
                        • Work in conjunction with CEO and Director of Engagement to leverage industry expertise and connections, becoming an expert in the transportation, logistics and supply chain industry

                          What you'll need to be successful:
                          • 4-8 years of Consultative B2B Sales experience, as a Hunter
                          • Experience selling enterprise software/technology or project-based consulting services
                          • Experience prospecting to the C-Suite and senior-level leadership of mid-to-large enterprise businesses
                          • Quick learning attributes that enable you to pivot and work through ambiguity
                          • Ability to demonstrate strong sales process and strategies
                          • Track record of overachievement on goals or quotas
                          • Ability to work independently as well as with a team in driving sales process
                          • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
                          • Excellent follow-through skills
