Job Description:

The Down Stocking Associate is responsible for their aisles and zones, along with any other job duties given by leadership. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, reaching up, and lifting. The Down Stocking Associate will actively participate in all aspects of stocking, down stocking, and out-of-stock replenishment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Responsibilities Keeps all bins filled to maintain the appropriate inventory level for the Shipping Associates. Report mislabeled bins and out-of-stock products to leadership. Stock Shelves and assist the Shipping Associates with finding products using their order/picklist. Bends, squats, reaches frequently to organize, arrange, lift products to shelves on a consistent basis. Scan every bin on every shelf within the designated aisle. Find inventory discrepancies, location errors, and corrects as necessary. Ensure that all products in the designated aisle are properly labeled and stocked Ensure the designated aisle is organized and clean. Maintain aisles by following established sorting and stocking guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Work Environment This job operates in a warehouse environment where the noise level can be loud. The employee is frequently exposed to fast-moving carts and employees throughout the warehouse. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, reaching up, and lifting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 60 pounds. Skills & Experience A minimum of HS Diploma or GED One year of the factory- or warehouse-related experience in receiving and stocking Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience are required. Must be able to use warehouse equipment such as ladders, cutting tools, etc. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb ladders, all day. Must be able to lift and move items over 60 pounds.
