WORK REGIONS : North Central Region (Chicagoland Area Based)
JOB SUMMARY:
The Account Executive's primary responsibility is to supervise and facilitate the day-to-day execution of assigned programs and markets for a key automotive client account in the North Central Region. The Account Executive is tasked with designing, budgeting, and overseeing campaigns which meet our automotive client's objectives and requirements. The Account Executive also develops, maintains, and grows the client relationship with an emphasis on increasing revenue and profitability within projects. A successful Account Executive will be able to maintain a high level of organization, exceptional communication, and follow-through with their clients, full-time direct reports, and shared services departments. The Account Executive needs to have a deep understanding of assigned client's regional business, processes, brand objectives with the ability to identify program efficiencies or maximize results across multiple brands & markets within a single client portfolio and they will need to understand and monitor financial aspects of all assigned clients.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
- - - - -Maintain outstanding, accountable communications and relationships via phone/virtual contact, written correspondence, and face to face meetings (both clients & supporting employees)
- - - - -Develop, communicate, and facilitate marketing strategies/plans and creative platforms for assigned clients with a focus on positive measurable outcomes
- - - - -As needed, participate in Sales and Marketing process by identifying/proposing marketing solutions and participating in proposals for assigned regional business growth
- - - - -Manage program execution, budgets, timelines, client communications, vendor relationships and reporting responsibilities for assigned clients
- - - - -Assist with program budgeting, negotiate costs for services, track program costs against operating budget, oversee direct report spend, prepare and submit invoices and assist with client billing
- - - - -Set-up and maintain job folders and follow job tracking procedures from start-to-close of individual jobs.
- - - - -Initiate and execute internal work-start meeting with all necessary departments as needed
- - - - -Prepare clear and concise call reports (internal and external), status meeting agenda's, customer invoices, internal and external project debriefs and statistical project analysis reports as required
- - - - -Attend client meetings as required by project and facilitate status meetings as necessary
- - - - -Attend internal Production meetings, ensure Agency-shared Activation Calendar is updated and accurate on a weekly basis
- - - - -Uphold and maintain the integrity of what was sold and budgeted vs. what is being supplied and implemented
- - - - -Coordinate with upper management and/or Business Management department to maintain client contracts, proper insurance coverage and certificates, and personnel documentation on assigned programs
- - - - -Train direct reports and Executive Producer staff in learning all aspects of project implementation in accordance with EventLink standards - Manage and mentor assigned staff by providing clear expectations and goals, monitoring performance, providing feedback (both formal and ongoing) and coaching. -Identify and coordinate opportunities for staff to increase skills, knowledge, and abilities
- - - - -Maintain and grow agency's profitability through seeking out optimal revenue-generating and cost-cutting areas within existing client programs as well as being consistently observant for new client opportunities
- - - - -For markets with no full time Executive Producer support - ability to plan and facilitate assigned projects from start-to-finish (includes budget, staffing, event sourcing, admin, etc.)
- - - - -Assist Account Director in forecasting account development and day-to-day management of program execution
- - - - -Travel as necessary to various markets for the purpose of training, client facing, implementing and trouble-shooting non-local programs

REQUIREMENTS
- - - - -Bachelor's Degree
- - - - -Project & Client Management experience required
- - - - -Must reside in the Chicagoland Area (Northwest suburbs a plus) - Hybrid office model
- - - - -5+ years in brand management and/or experiential/integrated marketing - preferred 2-3 years' experience at AE level
- - - - -2-3 years' experience managing full-time staff
- - - - -High proficiency with Microsoft Suite Applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as SaaS platforms for scheduling, field staff payroll, and project management (Teamwork, Paycom, Box, etc.)
Experience creating and managing budgets.
Extremely detail oriented with ability to create, utilize, and manage organization templates, timelines, calendars, and key documents

Flexibility, versatility, and willingness to take on a wide range of responsibilities and maintain effective processes within a seasoned account
Reliable form of transportation and communication tools
Ability to travel 10-15% as needed (client/agency meetings, in-market trainings, in-market quality control to maintain the health of your assigned clients/programs)
