The Quantitative Market Research Executive position at Shapiro+Raj is an opportunity needing applicants with a high potential for growth, those with the drive to contribute to strategic client relationships, and those who want to apply their quantitative skills in our world of insights and brand strategy. This position works with Life Sciences and Consumer Research Teams, focusing on developing actionable insights for various clients. Executives are primarily responsible for supporting quantitative research projects and working closely with research and field partners in a supportive and dynamic role. Creative thinking and collaborative problem solving are key to this position!
ResponsibilitiesCore responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the below:
Core responsibilities

  • Works directly with research colleagues to understand the goals of quantitative market research initiatives and client needs.
  • Works independently to understand background information relevant to research topics (for example, the treatment landscape in a given disease area).
  • Contribute to the design of quantitative research instruments.
  • Plays a key role in data collection, including testing online surveys and monitoring data collection of quantitative studies.
  • Coordinates data processing and tabulation activities to include data cleaning, recoding, weighting schema development, tab spec creation, comprehensive table checking, etc.
  • Supports quantitative analysis, including compiling, interpreting, prioritizing, and verifying diverse data sets, with the support of senior team members.
  • Contributes to developing actionable client solutions through brainstorming and collaboration with our research and strategy team members.
  • Assists in the creation of client reports, complete with graphs illustrating data and written text explaining complex findings.

      • Familiarity with or interest in learning data analysis tools such as Python, R, SPSS, SAS, Market Sight, data analytics platforms, etc. a plus
      • Detail-oriented nature and forward-thinking mentality (must be able to see the big picture without losing sight of the details)
      • Must be able to effectively manage time and a variety of responsibilities
      • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
      • Teachable, eager to learn, and unafraid of asking questions
      • Knowledge/interest in the pharmaceutical market research industry is a plus
        Education and/or Experience--- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university equivalent plus 2+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
