The Advanced Analytics Leader is responsible for influencing business strategy through data and analytics. The position is also responsible for anticipating changes, leading innovative data, and analytics solutions to drive business results. The Advanced Analytics Leader role will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning techniques and big data technologies to solve critical business challenges. This individual will also oversee end to end delivery of the analytics products including developing advanced solutions, building POCs (Proof Of Concept) and rolling out the solutions to production.

This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States. This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses. Key Responsibilities
Influences organizational strategy through data and analytics expertise
Anticipates challenges with data and analytics and develops proactive solutions
Builds and leverages big data platform including storage and associated distributed computing abilities for driving advanced analytics solutions
Responsible for end-to-end life cycle implementation of analytics solutions from ideation thru development to production implementation and maintenance
Provides direction and guidance to team and updates to senior leadership on projects of critical importance
Develops and enhances advanced analytics solutions by leveraging machine learning modeling techniques and big data technologies
Develops and manages the implementation of innovative data and analytics solutions to support business unit objectives
Ensures the delivery of analytics products by partnering with business and technology teams and driving cross-functional coordination
Provides data and analytics expertise to advise, support and collaborate across business units

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job is a hands-on big data and advanced analytics development and implementation role and will have supervisory duties in a smaller capacity Job Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Finance, Business, Economics, IT or related field, or equivalent experience
10 years of data and analytics experience
5 years of insurance experience preferred

Functional Skills
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in different programming languages such as SQL, R and Python required
Prior experience in implementing big data platforms including data lake
Experience managing multiple projects through the agile delivery process
Expert knowledge of data warehousing, business intelligence, data engineering and other critical areas of data and analytics
General insurance knowledge
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong expertise working with Machine Learning models
Strong leadership skills
Compensation Data
Compensation range for this position is $110,600 - $160,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
