You will ensure all measurements and fittings are done properly, accurately, and efficiently - so that they can wear that uniform proudly. At Galls, we are P.R.O.U.D. to Serve, and it all starts on our Production and Value-Added Service Team. Galls will train in all the processes needed to be successful in this role.WHAT YOU WILL DORead and accurately identify the customer's needs per the Work Instruction DocumentTake necessary measurements and mark garments for alterations with ability to problem solve individual sizing issuesPerform uniform sewing, alternations, and embellishments with accuracy and efficiency to include taking up stride, lengthening/shortening tails on shirts, tapering shirts, adjusting waists, hemming trousers, mending tears, replacing zippers, applying patches, applying name strips, applying striping, and applying patchesOperate industrial sewing machinery and meet production deadlinesOther duties may be assigned to meet business needsWHAT YOU WILL BRINGHigh school diploma or GED equivalent requiredPrevious experience in Alterations preferred. Galls will train!Well-versed on industrial Sewing machines preferred.
