This person thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a proven operator even in the most dynamic situations, with experience working for a top executive and/or high profile individual, including experience in public relations.There is always more to learn, but for this role, exceptional organization and collaboration skills are required. You must be highly adaptable with an ability to build trust with individuals and teams at all levels, and demonstrate the highest degree of ownership while operating with an "ego free" attitude. You are a clear communicator, both written and verbal, who consistently operates with the utmost integrity and professionalism. You should be a world-class, creative problem solver and an exceedingly analytical, structured thinker. There is no challenge you cannot break down and solve. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities with ease.Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Co-Founder is working on top priority items for the company and priorities are on track, while assisting with completion where needed and ensuring an appropriate level of quality and accuracy
  • Keep the Co-Founder accountable for commitments, while helping keep direct reports accountable for results
  • Work closely with the Co-Founder in managing personal affairs currently operated out of our Family Office organization
  • Liaison between external public relations agency and internal team to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly
  • Partner with our external public relations agency to create effective publicity plans for the Co-Founder and arrange publicity opportunities such as speaking engagements, appearances and interviews
  • Draft talking points for the Co-Founder and help them prepare for press visits, conferences and interviews
  • Oversee social media activity to ensure that the Co-Founder is viewed in a positive light at all times
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with media outlets, including managing day-to-day relations and outreach with regards to other public relations opportunities
  • Promote the Co-Founder and/or company image in a favorable mannerQualifications
    • Proven experience working as a counterpart to a top executive or high profile individual; experience in public relations is ideal
    • Impeccable interpersonal and social skills
    • Efficient multitasking and time management abilities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Exceptional debate and public speaking abilities
    • Professional appearance and demeanor
    • Ability to manage day-to-day operations, which may include scheduling and complex calendar management
