Trust administration; including monitoring and maintaining trust
checking accounts and brokerage accounts and filing monthly
statements, paying estimated income taxes and income distributions,
preparing quarterly income statements and annual accountings,
preparing annual withdrawal notices, maintaining withdrawal notice
list. Estate administration; including monitoring and maintaining
estate checking accounts and brokerage statements and filing
monthly statements, paying distributions, assisting with
preparation of probate documents to open and close estates; valuing
estate securities with on-line program; preparing estate annual
accountings; maintaining master estate case status list.
Maintaining block of tax identification numbers from the IRS to be
issued to clients as requested; this includes keeping a detailed
record of each number issued and periodic updates to the master tax
identification list; requires attention to detail; Basic knowledge
of Word and Excel. Position Summary Under general supervision and
according to established policies and procedures provides
legal/general support to the firm's attorneys and their clients.
Must be familiar with and observe the firm's established policies
and guidelines. Must maintain positive contact with attorneys (both
the firm's and outside counsel), support staff, clients and
vendors. Observes confidentiality of client and firm matters. This
position is not limited to the functions and skills listed on this
description and responsibilities may be revised as needed.

or Finance; a paralegal certificate, a plus, but not required.
Experience: One year prior experience with a law firm, a bank or
accounting firm, a plus but not required. Skills: Excellent verbal
and written communication skills as well as the ability to work in
a team setting with individuals at all organizational levels.
Ability to organize and prioritize issues and workload. The ability
to work on projects independently or with little supervision.
Flexibility and ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities.
Exercising independent judgment and initiative. Other Supervisory
Responsibilities: None Equipment To Be Used: Personal computer and
other office equipment such as telephone, calculator, fax, machine,
copier, scanner, etc. Typical Physical Demands: Manual dexterity
sufficient to operate standard office equipment. Typical Mental
Demands: Able to work effectively in a fast paced environment. Make
judgment decisions and adapt to changing work situations. Grasp and
apply new ideas. Communicate with various personalities at all
levels. Working Conditions: Works in typical office setting on a
hybrid schedule. Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess
